Melati - Full Time, On Site - Teaching
We are seeking an experienced, highly professional, and deeply mature 500-hour (or equivalent qualification) Chinese Yoga Lead Teacher to be based in Bali. In this role, you will fully lead the classroom instruction and end-to-end student management for the House of Om Chinese Hybrid Yoga Teacher Training (CHYTT) program. In addition to the Chinese program you must also be able to teach in our 200hr English hybrid and full yoga teacher trainings.
Organizational Structure & Reporting Line:
This position reports directly to the Teacher Manager and is expected to strictly follow their professional guidance and daily academic management. Additionally, during the active periods of the Chinese training programs, you are required to maintain close, high-frequency communication and collaboration with the Chinese Project Manager. We expect you to be not only an exceptional yoga educator but also a well-polished corporate professional with outstanding cross-departmental collaboration skills.
Why join us?
Working with House of Om means stepping into a role where your work has direct impact, not just on the numbers, but on how the business operates and scales.
Here’s what makes this role special:
- Ownership, not just execution: you will lead finance for Thailand and take full responsibility across multiple locations
- Exposure to an international setup: Multi-location, multi-currency, and a mix of operations (Koh Phangan, Koh Samui, Bangkok)
- Direct access to leadership: you will work closely with the CFO and CEO and contribute to key decisions
- Room to improve and build: this is not a “maintain what exists” role, we want someone who can strengthen systems and processes
- A balanced environment: a professional role within a business that values wellbeing, flexibility, and a healthy working rhythm
Key Responsibilities

- High Level of Preparation & Maturity: Conduct thorough and rigorous pre-class preparation; independently and confidently command the classroom pacing, and deliver high-quality teaching within the framework provided by the Teacher Manager.
Efficient Cross-Team Communication & Collaboration

Student Management & Professionalism
- Maintain a gentle yet firm, compassionate, and positive-energy teaching style. Act as the primary point of contact to positively guide and reassure students when they face challenges with learning, attendance, or adjustments.
- Possess strict professional boundaries and mature workplace communication habits. Respect team members’ time and advance daily operations within reasonable, standard working hours.
Qualifications & Requirements
Certification: Hold a Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500 credential, or an RYT 500 with extensive experience leading teacher training batches.
